A decadent new brand for breastfeeding mamas.

Ama is an entrepreneurial venture I co founded.  Ama is a brand, a product and a community, support system, and sisterhood that embraces mothers of all kinds. As moms, my partner and I were inspired by our real-life experiences and some of the challenges new mothers face. We developed indulgent lactation treats for breastfeeding mothers using recipes with nutrient dense ingredients. Our goal was to reinvent traditional remedies to increase breastmilk production for new mothers with unique ingredients to create one of a kind delicious lactation treats that are effective, ethically and sustainably sourced, and handcrafted to perfection incorporating ingredients called “galactagogues” which are foods and herbs that boost and support breastmilk production. We developed recipes in our own kitchens and built a brand with a unique point of view and visual style.
